Athletics

Soccer practiceThe purpose of athletics at Bancroft is to develop life-long habits of fitness, self-discipline, perseverance, personal improvement, sportsmanship, teamwork and fun!

Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA and have a 2.0 GPA from the previous quarter in order to participate in athletics. Students must also turn in an athletic permission slip to their coach.  Physical forms are required for participation, and the student athlete is required to have had a physical within the past year.  The participation form and physical form can be obtained from the main office, boy’s locker room, and girl’s locker room.

The athletic department is currently looking for a volunteer softball coach.  For more information on this, please contact the athletic office at Bancroft Middle School.

If there are any questions please feel free to contact Michael DeGrazia, Athletic Director, at 510-618-4380 ext. 3695
